    Oil Pressure Line

I am replacing the oil pressure line on 66 BB and the kit has fittings for gauge and block. What seats the tube in the guage so it doesn't leak. The oil line goes through the compression fitting but there is noting else to hold the line in the guage. What keeps the tubing in the guage and not backing out.

    Walter,
Look at this thread. Post #3 from John Hinckley will have your answer.

      Walter,

When you tighten the nut on the end it will crimp on the line itself and seal off. If it leaks just tighten it a little more. A tight snug fit will usually do the trick.

Walter are you using a metal oil pressure line or a plastic/nylon kit that is available at automotive parts stores?
