I have 3M protective film on my Z06 front end. After returning from Denver, I have a problem removing the bugs from the film. Anyone have this issue and found a solution?? The paint is protected but the front end looks like crap. HELP

Re: 3M Film
I've noted the same thing. If you don't remove the bug stuff immediately, you get stains. It's worse if they get a chance to get baked on.
I carry a fiber towel and cleaner in my 08 at all times just for this purpose.Vice-Chairman (West), Michigan Chapter NCRS

Re: 3M Film
Jimmy,
Those 3M adhesive covers are disposable. Just strip it off and put on another. It will be ready for the next trip then.
LOL and a lot!

Re: 3M Film
Jimmy, we just got back yesterday. Spent this afternoon cleaning her car back up, so I went to O'Rileys and bought a can of "Sea Foam - Bugs be Gone." It is in a red bottle. It worked great. Don't know how it would work on the 3M film, but it worked great on her car. I followed up with a quick detail. Now we are ready for Rhode Island! By the way we had 3875 miles of bugs and one bird on the front end.- Top
