Long Island 63-65 FI, repro Distributor Cap

Has anyone ordered one of Long Islands reproduction D-310 distributor cap, 63-65 fuelie short tower cap? Are they exactly like the real deal NOS ones you see? Anyone have photos of it that they can share?

John, I can't answer your question about the LI cap but the NAPA RR168 is a functional (low profile) replacement. Don H.

John, not sure how many people are making the cap, but a low sales item like that I'd say only one. The one's I've seen are easily detectable from originals unless some covert rework takes place. I see originals for sale for not much more than a new repro. Even then, you might have to magically make the 'R' disappear from the top. Also get the long nosed rotor to make it run correctly. Guess it depends on your final goal for the car.
