    intake manifold end seals

Was wondering what the deduction may be for using the bead of RTV method of sealing the intake manifold on the end rails rather than using the OEM style rubber seals. What did/do you guys do?

If you use a thin bead on the inner half of the rubber seals you can have the best of both worlds

Doug, Why not use the rubber end seals, I have done many over the years with no leaks. What I do is apply a thin coating of 3M yellow or black weatherstrip glue on the bottom of rubbers and a dab on RTV in corners. and apply a little glue to the intake gaskets to hold in place.

It will be a deduction if "GM" is not on the tab.
