1963 Vin # on frame

Just got body off of a Feb,63 and looking for the stamped Vin #. Kickup on drivers side but where? A picture would really help. Was the frame only stamped once? Thanks in advance.

If you search the archives you might find a photo. The frame is stamped in two locations above the drivers side rear tire and in the door sill area on the drivers side. If there is a lot of rust or scaling you may not be able to see it, on my friends' 63 we could not find any trace of the numbers there was just too much rust.

On a '63, it's directly above the rear shock upper attachment, on top of the frame rail. There's a second stamp about 12" forward of the kickup, also on top of the frame rail.
