Finally the official time has been released- not quite the rumored Porsche Spider beating time of sub 7 min, but still awesome!

Not to dispute or disprove the lap time of the 2015 Z06/07 but here's a video from 2011 where Jim Mero driving a 2012 Z06/07 at the ring and his time was 7:22...so the 7:08 time could be close or very believable...the 2012 ZR1 time was 7:19

Vinnie - remember we talked with Jim Mero when we were at the Proving Grounds about "the ring". Not saying the time is not possible, just that GM itself has stated what has been reported is not factual.
