Help on mounting knockoff wheels

I have put some road tires on my old Western Wheel knockoffs in anticipation of driving my '64 more soon. I did not take them off, and I have never put knockoffs like these (real ones) on before, so need some tips. How do I keep the adapter hubs still while I torque down the lug nuts to attach it? I see left and right hand threads on the adapters/spinners, I am assuming (like with old Chrysler lug nuts) that the left hand thread is on the left side and the right hand thread is on the right side? Also, after using the lead hammer to tighten the spinner, how should I make sure the pin is locked and any other tips to make sure it stays secure. Thanks for any tips.

Thanks Don, odd they are just the opposite to the old Chrysler lug nuts threaded theory of how to keep them tight as the wheel rotated.

Mark cone and spinner with a grease pen and check to assure they do not creep after a drive. Know the pros say if done properly they should not move, but can not forget one leaving a 65 FI on day so very careful.

I had trouble once with one of the pins breaking off...This caused a real mess! After that I ran without pins and never had an issue.
