Exhaust Extensions Help

Would a exhaust extension be correct for a 66 corvette with a part number A-3819573 for NCRS judging? Everything is correct as stated in the 66 Judging Manual Guide except my has the part number stamped on it. In the manual, it doesn't state one way or another.

You need a newer JG . It does say on page 180 " The extensions , without part numbers......." .

I think at one time the part number was considered correct , but now it is thought that the extensions with part numbers were the service replacements that GM offered in the 70s . Not the ones used originally on the line .
