    NOS Guillotine exhaust clamps

Here is a picture of five 2" NOS guillotine style exhaust clamp straps. Can someone place a value on them for me, and verify their correctness for the crossmember location?

The parts you have are $5.00 for the complete clamp. The flattened U-bolt type is $20.00 each. All prices are from Paragon.
So what you have are not worth much unless they are made different. I have flattened a few that passed judging.

Kevin, Make sure the curls are for 5/16" bolts. The 3/8" are not incorrect .

Lyle these are not the zinc coated Paragon type reproductions. They are exactly like those used by the general as far as I can tell.

        Thanks for the tip Gene!

I will make certain. To repeat myself, these were just found in a service station/scrap yard that had been opened in the 40's. A serious pack rat!!! These examples were in a crate of all new clamps, just the straps. The U bolts, washers and nuts where in other crates buried, that now went to the new owner.

Edit: The ID measurement of the "curls" is exactly 3/8", therefore used as mentioned for a 5/16" bolt. Thanks again Gene!

KG, if they have GM (with a part number) on the raised ridge they're very desireable.
If they don't have the GM, they're probably replacements like AP brand and not as desireable.

Very desirable indeed. If original GM I have seen them go for about $200 a pair.

Bob, how sure are you about the part marking on all Guillotine exhast clamps?

Arvin and Walker were exhaust suppliers, but I don't know if they made the clamps or just supplied them.

Greg Thompson recently purchased original tooling to remake these clamps.

It is my belief that clamps with a part number on the gusset is an early service replacement.
