1956 Steering wheel on 53 to 55 Corvette

Will a 1956 to 62 Corvette steering wheel bolt up on a 53 to 55 steering wheel hub and bell?
Will the turn signals function correctly?

Bruce, they ought to bolt up just fine. The steering columns are the same.

I put a 57 steering wheel on my 54 back in the early 60's and drove it for many years afterward with no problems. Simple bolt on procedure. Directional's and horn should work fine. I still have the 54 with the 57 wheel on it, and I still have the original 54 wheel stored away (but the horn ring seems to have disappeared).

You should like it. The 57 wheel looks much better than the 54 wheel.

I had a 57 wheel on my early 54 Corvette and it worked fine.
Just wanted to double check.
