Need picture of TI harness for 65

I am going to re wrap my TI harness with new friction tape as I am unable to get 40 year old overspray. I did not take a specific picture before removing for repainting core support area. Mine comes down beside the amp and loops back up. Would like a picture of original for 65 so I can duplicate. Thanks in advance.

TI is mounted on passenger side core support. You saw my car at Tucson.

John, I remember your car at Tucson, it's a nice original car.
The harness drops down the edge where the apron meets the core supt, a couple of inches past the amplifier and loops back up to plug in to the amp. Pretty hard to get a photo with the grille in.

I was just verifying that a picture of an L79/C60/TI harness on the opposite side wasn't going to give you any info that you could use.

Got it Loren. I will say mine is exactly as Stewert described.

Here is a picture of mine. My issue is where the wires go into the amp are different then I have seen. Also I have an extra length of harness that the car wiring plugs into. Has any body seen this before? In this picture you can see why I am re-wrapping the harness. Front end repair 45 years ago shop was sloppy and got maroon overspray on the friction tape. Tried removing it and could not. I will post a pic after wrapping in just a bit.

The first two pics are of the Amplifier off the car. As you can see it has it's own harness that goes straight into the box. The 3rd pic is of the car's harness plug before I cleaned it up. The last picture gives you an idea of the harness on the car. Length wise it goes right down to the amplifier box. You can see the ground wire that goes in the bottom right hand bolt for the amp.

It appears you have a service replacement amplifier that has an adapter pigtail that plugs into the original harness, thus giving the harness some additional length. Your original harness will plug directly into an original style amplifier.
