t-top 18, 19 or 20 pins?

I've counted 20 little plastic pins holding the original weatherstrip on both t-tops off a 72 Corvette. I need to order replacement weatherstrip, but all the catalog suppliers describe them as having either 18 or 19 pins depending on the specific year and say 72 is supposed to have 19 pins. I found an old thread on Corvette Forums where somebody asked the same question, but got no answer and never posted back whether he was able to get replacements that fit so at least I know I'm not alone. So if I buy the replacements, will 19 out of 20 line up and one is just not used? Will I have to drill new holes to line up?

Phil, I did my 72 and did not even count the retainers on the weatherstrip for the tops, they fit like the factory ones, I brought mine from Doc Rebuild. he has the latex ones as the factory has.
