'65 Brake Pedal

I think my '65 with power brakes should have the linkage in the upper hole (see photo with arrow). Am I correct? Thanks, Don H.

No Don. It should be where it is. The upper hole at least in 66 has a small bracket bolted there that contacts the brake switch.

Hi Don, I agree with Russ, the linkage for PB in '66 attaches to the bottom hole, the upper hole is where the switch plate is bolted as seen in my photo below -Don

Please get the correct clip that holds the pin in the clevis, that is a important safety item. The correct clip is shown in post #3.
