If you really want to get down on correct quantities regarding the L-79 HP suffex for the K19 option, you could say you are one of 34. However, keep in mind there were a total of 509 L-79s with the K19 option. 444 L-79 coupes with air cond. (C60). 1138 L-79s with N40 power steering and 3,226 L-79s with M21 4 spd. close ratio trans. You can conclude from this that every car is somewhat unigue depending on its options.

I wasn't aware that this type of info was available for the C2. Can I assume (I know) that my '67 is 1 of 34? Just curious...

Yes, Leif this information is available for the C2 and other years as well. NCRS and the Black Book give total quantities for each option and they are usually correct. However, there is a breakdown on how these numbers were computed. The problem that comes into play is interpreting GM's production quantity symbols. For instance, GM breaks down the N14 option quantity for a 327 cu in engine equipped car into 2 classifications
AA 971 units and AC 37 units. The balance of the option quantity is for the 427 equipped cars. AB 3,109 and AD 92 the total is the correct listed quantity of 4,209 units. GM's listed designation changes with each option making it tough to interpret. As for your '67 being 1 of 34, I guess you would be correct BUT not 1 of 34 '67 coupes with the K19 option and the exact options that Herb's car is equipped with.

I did the % interpolation on the options on my 67 & according to the math it was 0 of 0 So I guess my Corvette was never built & doesn't exist? LOL

Thank you for your explanation. I knew that the total number of cars built with certain individual options was available but wasn't aware one could drill down on these numbers as described here. I know that my car is a rarely equipped unit (especially in Ermine White), I've just always wondered how unique it really is.

Other than the gas tank. Where are other places the order sheet be located in the car?
i have one on the tank but it's old and hard to read.

i don't want to remove it. Because I think it will fall
apart.

As far as I know, the tank sticker is the only documentation that was physically on the car as it went down the assembly line. Possibly you can shoot some uber high resolution pictures of the sticker. 47 years later these tank stickers can be extremely fragile.

Unlike Chevelles, Firebirds, etc there was only one tank sheet for a 67 Vette. My tank sheet was on my Silver coupe, and the car is unbelievably original. So I went and found another used, original gas tank and pressure tested it. Then, I dropped my original tank (taking a billion pictures to document the process) and installed the replacement/original tank (not the original for my car, but an original). This way, I can properly preserve the original tank sheet from my car while retaining the patina/originality of my car. I even was able to reuse the original anti-squeak strips from my original tank. The experts say to not let your tank sticker be exposed to ANY direct or indirect light, so I have the tank sheet covered with a soft towel. Just my two cents....Fantastic car........ARA
