61-62 Turn Signals

Who is the unofficial or official turn signal guru? I'm talking about the cam works in the steering wheel hub. Any and all suggestions will be appreciated. My signals work, but for some reason they no longer stay on. I've got it apart and I see nothing wrong but they won't stay in the on position.
