Solenoid Positive Wire to Ignition Coil? 66 C2

Was there Ever a Boot for the positive Solenoid Wire Pink that goes to the Ignition coil Positive Terminal???
The reason I ask ids There's One for The Alternator Boot + so why not for the Coil +..Ive fired the Pink wire when The Spark Plug Wiring Radio Shields Accidently grounded out againt the + Wire Termiinal after Changing Spark Plug Wiring...and didnt get the Wire Shieids far enough away.. Tired of Splicing....Thanks

No, there was never a boot for that terminal connection - you just have to make sure you have the pink wire's forked terminal oriented on the coil post such that it's inboard and can't touch the top ignition shield.
