73 Sun Visor Starting Instructions Label/Radio Instructions Questions

Were all the labels the cloth stick on type, or did some 73's depending on build dates have one of the slide on types as used on 74's?
Also, did the 73's come with a Radio Instruction guide if the car came with a radio? The reason I ask is that it is not listed in the Assembly Manuals Miscellaneous Shipping list on page 25. I'm trying to get all the correct contents for my owner's packet.

The visor labels were all the cloth type on 73's. The radio sheet was not included but many judges think it was so I had one Justin Case.

Thanks Lyle, that would probably be a super expensive find I would imagine. I would need to be lucky enough to find an OEM oxblood (dark red) visor with one still attached. (Probably couldn't afford one it I did find it. ) I assume most of those were removed by the owner right away, especially on a convertible because it wouldn't look very nice with the top down, and the visors up with the label showing I plan on going to Carlisle in August for the first time this year. I'm going to start a list of things I need to look for.

Russ at $4.00 I doubt the label is very close to original. Have you seen one?

                Lyle,
Looking at the photo from Impala Bob's it looks pretty good, but that was just a photo. I emailed with questions about the material it was made from and the dimensions, but haven't gotten a response back yet.

Lyle, Yes I have seen them and I have a few of them on hand. They are excellent although I haven't gone over them with a magnifying glass. At $4.00 they are a real steal.

just an FYI, I believe the "slide on" instructions did not start until '77.

As far as I know all 73s used the cloth. My74 has a similar to the 73 except it is made of a paper. Also my 73 when I got it new didn't have a radio instruction sheet.

Thanks guys for all the clarification. That's exactly what the 73-74 TIMJG says about the material the labels were made from. The reason I asked about the sleeve type is that there were some listed on eBay as being correct, just wanted to make sure. The same for the radio instruction sheet. I might get one just to have. BTW Russ, I did get one of the labels from Impala Bob, thanks .

Jim, was the label cloth? Did it have an adhesive to attach to the visor?
                          thanks for your reply.

                            Robert,
Yes it is clothlike (not paper), material, and has a peel off back to adhere to visor.
