I am having the temperature gauge and oil pressure gauge replaced and returned to OEM correct gauges on my 1965 corvette. I have secured the gauges and have the retainer plate for them on order (someone ruined the original retainer plate when installing after-market gauges). I am told by the mechanic performing this installation that I need an insulator for the temperature gauge and an oil line that will fit the oil pressure gauge. I do not know how to correctly identify these parts nor do I have any part numbers for ordering them from any parts supply companies. Are these in a kit form or individual components and how do I properly identify them when ordering? Also, where is the best place to order them from?

welcome to the tech discussion board. There are several good vendors for mid year parts. Long Island Corvette Supply (LICS) is one.
their part no 22-20B, or 22-20C (depending on your engine) is the temp gauge wire insulator kit.
Their part 38-30A, or 38-30B (depending on your engine) is the oil pressure line and fittings kit.- Top
