I would appreciate your help to identify the year of this Jack that was in my 1966. I know it is not a 1966 Jack. It has a big A on the top and a K on the side. From what I can find it looks like a late C3 Jack and handle. Thanks for you help.

Yes, it looks like a GM #3958710 which was originally used for 1969-81 Corvettes. In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

Re: Jack ID
The Jack has three holes. The one on top is oblong and closer to the pivot. I hope that helps?- Top

Re: Jack ID
Thank you for clearing up the position of the 66 Judging Manual. The three hole handle could be found in early 66 Corvettes and is typical however some real early (below 1000 S/N) 66 Corvettes have been found with the one hole handle. All late 66 and all 67 Corvettes had the three hole handle WITH the large rubber on the head of the handle. The large rubber started sometime in 65.

Re: Jack ID
My 1966 was built on October 29th 1965 so it reasonably early (handle may be original?) and after further cleaning and examination of the jack it show 9 K on the side so I assume that is November 1969?- Top

Yes, I would say that's what it denotes. However, I suppose it's also possible it denotes 1979 as I think this jack was still being manufactured at that time, although it would have been right at the very end of its period of manufacture. In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top
