1994 Armrest (storage cover)

The drivers side door armrest and hinges are missing on my 1994. Any ideas on where to look? I have tried the usual online sources without success. Thanks.

The door is very often in pretty rough condition when purchased used. However, you're in luck. The door which includes the hinge is still available from GM under GM #10262883. The only problem is it carries a current GM list price of 460 bucks.

The hinge used to be available separately under GM #10085922 but it's no longer available.

Just for fun I called my local parts department and I get parts for cost My price was 367.27. List for 469. Just wow.

Keith Thanks, like you said wow. In doing some looking around it maybe that is the part number for the door panel and the part number for the armrest maybe 12522295?

Like Joe said what's available is the door lid and hinge as one unit. The hinge by itself is discontinued. I would be calling some Corvette salvage yards and hope for the best.

Are you talking about the armrest on the door panel or the armrest which is essentially the console door? In your original post you parenthetically added "storage cover" and you mentioned you also needed the hinge. So, this led me to believe that you were talking about the console door and its hinge. If you're talking about the armrest on the door panel, that's another matter. That armrest was supplied with the door panel but was also available separately under GM #12522295. However, both are GM-discontinued. Once again, I would expect that any used examples of the armrest you're going to find will be worn or otherwise deteriorated to one degree or another.

He handles used C4 parts.
Met him at Corvettes at Carlisle where he had a booth.

Thanks I was able to find one but the screw holes cracked. I ended up sanding them off with a dremel tool and glued on pieces I cut from wall anchors with JB weld. So far it has worked great.
