My clock runs fast. Is it possible to adjust it?

Jeff, yes its possible as all clocks have to be adjusted. First remove the adjusting knob by holding the shaft with sidecutters and then remove the +12 connector from the back. Take a screwdriver and bend the four tabs on the case until the clock can be seperated. Remove the mechanism with the face and locate the wheel with the spring that goes back and forth as in tick tock. The spring can be adjusted to speed up or slow down where its attached to the frame. Moving to the left slows down and moving right speeds it up by a shorter or longer spring. Attach the clock to 12 volts and move the spring and wait for a couple of hours adjusting until the clock is run and adjusted for 24 hours and is accurate using a digital clock or phone to check your work. It takes patience to adjust this way or take it to a local watch maker for adjustment. They can adjust it in 5 minutes or less but you can get the same results with patience.

In the owner's manual:
"When resetting, pull out the small knob and turn in the direction to which you wish to set the hands - clockwise if the clock is slow, counterclockwise if the clock is fast. Do not move the hands past the correct time." This will only work if the regulation you're needing to amend (fast or slow) is 3 minutes or more.
