    Coil Wire 427 Boot to Distributor ?

    Does the 90 Degree Boot on The Coil wire go on the Coil? and the Straight End of the Wire Go on the Distributor...or Visa Versa...? forgot to take a pix before replacing.. Thanks

          I just put one back on a couple hours ago. Straight one on the distributor. As I recall, the coil sticks up just a little higher than the distributor cap. We were priming the carbs for a level check and didn't want the engine to fire, so I pulled the coil wire off the distributor end.
