The number should be 1100884 not 1100882 for the hard to find alternator that was factory installed on my 1970 Corvette 350 with factory air conditioning. What is the difference between them?

Saw this 882 alternator on ebay and it peaked my interest. If authentic someone night be able to use it, I can't.

It doesn't have a correct rear case half, either. The case half pictured is a 1971+. However, the price is OK for someone that only wants a semi-correct "replica".

Good call, I'm not really familiar with these things, especially since I have a '72. The stamp did look way to crisp for the age though. Just figured I'd throw it out there.
