    71 Headlight Vacum Piping

On the firewall of the 71 there is a metal tube that is part of the headlight vacuum line system. My question, is the metal tubing natural finish or was it painted black when the firewall and engine compartment was blacked out. Mine has some black paint on it by I think this is from touch up later.
    Thanks in advance

    Re: 71 Headlight Vacum Piping

    Hi Sheldon,
On my 71 the 'pipes' were natural.
Thinking about when the 'black-out' was done in the engine compartment this makes sense.
    Regards,
    Alan

I believe the rivet heads and stud would be black though?
