'66 and '67 BB Oil Pan Timing Cover Bolt Hole

I know that one difference between a '66 and '67 BB oil pan is the hole in the radius center where the timing chain cover bolt to.
Would this hole be present even in the late '66 production line run? When would the change have taken place?

Gary, On my 66 L36 with a date of 02/22 the hole is there ,this is a little over half way through the years run

I believe the hole in the pan for the small bolt continued through the 1967 model year. In fact, I think it was still there at least through 1968.
