71 Corvette Radiator

Can anyone tell me where the tag would be located on a 71 Corvette Copper Radiator (small block, automatic w/air)? I see "Harrison" stamped on the side tank but am unable to locate the tag with the two embossed letters as described in the 71 Technical Manual. Thank you

Seth, my 72 tag is located about 6 to 8 inch's from the top of pass. side radiator tank.

Seth, I Believe mine says (MK ) I Think paragon corvette sells the tags. not sure if all tag were the same but I can tell you I basicly have a the same options as you stated. L48. Air cond. auto.

You need a tag that has "MI9" in large font, with the radiator part number 3018802 below it in smaller font.

There were four tags available in 1971. MI9 is for a 350/auto, MK9 350/4 speed, MH9 454/auto, and MJ9 454/4 speed.

I don't know of anyone that reproduces these tags, but I see them occasionally on Ebay. If you find a source for them please let me know as I need a "MK9" tag myself. I'm going to Bloomington next month and I'll look for one for you. Send me your email address.
