My console for my 63, like many, has gotten scratched up and dulled over the years. I remember in years past seeing reconditioned consoles and wings at the Bloomington Show and they looked well done. In trying to keep with my original console does anyone know of a reconditioning process or someone that reconditions these consoles?

Re: 63 console
I had the anodizing stripped and re anodized some years back and it was not cheap to do. It got a nice shine on the surface but removing the scratches is a problem on those parts. The surface is not a smooth flat surface. There are lines recessed in the flat areas and sanding down the metal will remove the lines and change the appearance. They do sell repro. parts for the console but I kept my original.- Top
