    73 Seatbelt Warning Light/Buzzer Troubleshooting

I have been in the process of getting all my warning lights, buzzers and alarm working properly on my 73. I have finished getting the door ajar light and alarm system to function as they should thanks to much help from this forum. Next , I would like to get the seat belt warning light and buzzer to function properly. Right now I have no light on dash, and no buzzer. The car went through an extensive interior restoration back in the early 90's and the seat belts were replaced. (For sure the retractable male side, I'm not sure about the female sides). I tried looking at the archives but found nothing specifically on the 73. I'm hoping someone out there went through this process on a 73 and would be able to help with suggestions as to where I would start first. I'm thinking I should probably start by removing the seats to check the wiring to the belt retractor, and passenger seat weight sensor, but really not sure after that.

The retractors need to be original with the plug and switch to make the system work. I know of no replacements with the switch.

      Thanks Lyle,
thats what I was thinking, because I haven't seen any replacements with wiring, but wasn't sure. I'm learning every step of the way with this process. My next mission then would be to find original retractables for the car. I've seen them advertised in the driveline.
