Re: 59 early production vs late
This may be an overly simple answer, but....For the three different divisions (early, mid and late), I divide the total volume for the year (9670) by three. Therefore....early equals serial number 0001 through 3223....mid equals 3223 through 6446...... late equals 6446 through 9670.
Or you could use the estimated final monthly production number for each of the 12 months (out of the 58-60 Judging Manual)...divided by four, says early equals Sept through Dec....mid equals Jan through April....late equals May through August.
Figure out where your serial number fits in....Is this what you were asking?- Top

Re: 59 early production vs late
It depends on the specific component you want to know about. Running changes took place throughout the year, and a early/late "this" could be thousands of cars before or after an early/late "that".- Top

Re: 59 early production vs late
Thanks guys, what i am looking at is the judging manual that shows various parts numbers depending on if the car is an early 59 or late 59. i assume the manual is referencing a serial number cut off for early/late but am curious what that number serial number or month is.- Top
