    Chassis Inpection Markings on 1972

Hi everyone, I'm restoring a 1972 LS5 Convertible. Unfortunatly, the chassis/suspension had to much surface rust to document any inspection markings during disassembly (over 20 years ago). My question is more for the front spindles as I think I have most of the other common ones figured out. I know no 2 cars are truly alike in this area but what would typically be considered common on the spindles this year?

    Thanks, Mike

Mike I have some pic.s of a 72,that has 300 miles, ZR1 corvette and there are no inspection markings on the spindles. not all corvettes had markings, it was likely a random pulling of cars for inspectors to pull and check and then they made there marks, I do think that the judges will deduct for lack of markings anyway.

      Mike,

Here is neat shot of the front rotor with it's markings on it. Not visible with the tire mounted but gives you some reference.

I was under the impression that some chassis markings were inspectors marks, and that others were for identification purposes on the assembly line.
