C2 Rear fuel Line

I've been searching for information on what is entailed in replacing the rear fuel hose that goes from the fuel line to the tank. I've given it a quick look and it appears access is an issue. Any help would be appreciated.

I replaced the line in my 63 a few years back. I don't recall if I removed the tire tub but I know it was accessible. Get the fuel level low in the tank then I pinched off the line near the tank and removed it from the fuel line fitting then used a hose to drain the fuel into a 5 gal can. If you have the original line and fittings you may have difficulty removing the old fitting to get the hos off. Just cut the hose to drain and then you can remove the remains of the old hose.

Well, I went out and did what I thought needed to be done and removed the spare tire lid and tub. There it was staring me in the face. That jogged my memory as I had replaced the line 35 years ago and forgot how I did it. Project accomplished.

Are you sure you're not talking about the metal fuel line that runs alongside the frame from the fuel pump and then enters inside the frame near the bottom of the kickup, goes up the kickup inside the frame and then exits the kickup at the top near the fuel tank?......This portion of the fuel line is indeed difficult to replace and almost requires a total body off in order to route it through the frame...
