In case you missed the recent NCRS Regional Meet in Concord, NC, we had a special event on Thursday night that raised about $17,000 for the Hendrick Marrow program. I just want to personally thank each and everyone who attended and made a donation.

THANKS !!!!

I think it is events like this that set NCRS above any other car club I have ever been affiliated with.

By the way I thought I would post a link to the Hendrick Marrow Program's website. I had never heard of it prior to this thread. Sounds like a great cause.

About 10 years ago the owner of the company I work for got leukemia and required a bone marrow transplant. He's been fine since, the donor was a total stranger that donated just out of the goodness of his heart.

I too echo Jimmy's thanks for the tremendous outpouring for this charity. Mr. Hendrick has long supported the Carolinas Chapter and we now give back to him.

I was thinking about this Saturday night as Dale Jr. won at Taladaga. The whole shop will be getting a bonus again according to Sandy, our tour host. Also, a very nice story with photos by Vinnie in Restorer Vol 37 number 2 Fall 2010 with coverage from previous Charlotte/Hendrick experience that I sorely missed BUT not this time. Probably the best charitable donation I've ever made.
