Tom - New Mexico green chiles from Hatch, NM are the best & so when folks travel outside of NM many of us bring Hatch green chiles with us to add some of that flavor to give us that traditional flavor & taste of NM food we love. If you are going to Frisco, let me know & I'll bring you some. If we find someone with a BIG BLOCK car we can roast them on the exhaust manifold. Pete

Well said Pete, but one quibble. We in Northern New Mexico think our Chimayo variety chiles are the best. But they are rare and not commercially cultivated and distributed like the Hatch variety. But suffice to say, no other state or country produces chiles of the caliber of our New Mexico chiles, so perfect for bribing our way into Texas. I would suggest using a NOM big block car for roasting, I think you lose less points that way, no?

Are you taking the neat 67 green / tuxedo L36 Powerglide coupe? I like that car Tim. I was in BANDERA, TEXAS last week. After 7 years my wife Dee wants to build.......so maybe I will be at Frisco.

I hope to participate. Moving to DFW in August, new house to be completed Sept/Oct. Depends if/when I can find a place to park the vette.

August is great--it will be like moving to the surface of the sun! We are happy to have you coming to Texas. If I can be of any help let me know. I live just north of Dallas.

Everything is still up in the air at this point. My goal was to have the car judged at Frisco, but if I'm living in corporate housing for a month or two I won't have a garage to park it in.
So depending on when my new house is finished and if my temporary living has a garage will determine when I bring the car to DFW.
