    Elusive key buzzer switch find!

Found a key buzzer switch and clip for 72 non-tilt, non-tele. For anyone interested, I got them on ebay from 2 different sellers. One has 3 switches(7804414) left and the other has about 10 clips(7830375) left. Took about a week to get them but I got'em! Never been much of a believer in ebay but I'm coming around!

Scott that's a good find, I was able to find a NOS one from Doc Rebuild about 6 years ago for my tilt & tele there were none to be found at that time. And then a guy from Corvette steering starting making them, and now I hear they are no longer avail. The non tilt ones are available through the Corvette venders I think.

Was the switch supplied in original GM packaging? I suspect that what is being sold here are the reproductions which are also available from most of the Corvette parts vendors. It may well be that these reproductions are manufactured by the original supplier to GM but that still does not make them original GM. Of course, they may very well be identical to original in functionality.
