    71 LT-1 hood decals

I have the bare hood in white and need information on the mask and the painting of the stripes. I think I need black as the color. I have read the old posts but I don't want to make a mistake.

Black would be correct here is a photo of one. Car was a 3 star car had repaint on drivers side bot not the hood.

      Thanks Paul

Can the stripes be put on with a spray can and were they gloss black?

        Lyle,
The color chart is in the 1970-72 TIM&JG. If you don't have one you might find it a worth-while investment.

You should see the engine suffix label location on this car.

Would that be the one stuck to the original plug wire on the non-radio car?

I think the repro of that same label looks pretty good too.

I concur. Whoever is doing those does a good job with them!
