Difference between auto and straight shift AFB carb for 65

For a 65 corvette that has an AFB carburetor, what is the difference between one used with an automatic car and one used on a standard car. Is it just that the auto carb has extra linkage on it for the auto transmission shift. Can you use an automatic carb on a shift car.

I think the 3720/1 SB version might have slightly different jets/rods and maybe idle jets, which are part of the primary venturi clusters. That information should be listed in the '65 Shop Manual Supplement.

My '65 #48 manual 4-speed Corvette (original drivetrain) has got a 3720SB. As far as I recall Duke is right regarding differences in jets.
Since mine is a very early '65 and the carb date predates the engine only by a couple of weeks it might be the original one (leftover from '64 model run).
