'65 Corvette - 1.) turn signal lever problem 2.) vendor in FL

    Hello,

I'm going to Florida for vacation (I live in Germany). Beside the NCRS Florida spring chapter meet I intend to buy some parts that I need for some minor issues with my C2 Corvette. When I make a left turn I have to hold the turn signal lever most of the times because it doesn't stay. Is it recommended to replace the complete turn signal switch or would the actuating cam be sufficient? Ecklers in Florida only offers a complete switch for a telescopic column so if a actuator cam is sufficient I must look somewhere else. In this case I'd like to know which other vendors with a shop are there in FL.

NOS actuator plates can be found pretty easily on eBay. Here is one.

Enjoy your vacation without chasing down parts.

      Don,

if a vendor is close to our tour it is worth stopping there, or make a little detour. When I order from Germany I have to pay between 25-29% VAT and Import Tax (if the part costs are higher than $25) ... on the shipping costs as well. The latter ones are considerable, too, if the vendor sends at all.
Travelling by plane enables you to tax-free import goods up to $460.

Wrong one. The OP has a tele. wheel. Completely different set-up.

Where is Florida are you going to be. Maybe a member who lives close could order one for you and you could arrange to pick it up from them. Could save you some tax and shipping.

Current plan is Miami, Florida Keys, Fort Meyers, St. Petersburg, Crystal River, Titusville Cape Canaveral and back to Miami.
If the complete switch replacement fixes my problem Ecklers has got it but not the actuator cam only, which I would have to order from an alternative vendor and have it sent to a place in Florida where I can pick it up.
