Just had to show off my newly restored seats, ordered Al Knock covers and foam from Paragon , almost by accident and I was very impressed. I have only done two other sets of seats before, and was preparing myself to have to trim and add to the foam , as I had done in the past , and then fight with the covers for hours, not the case this time these guys have really put some work into the design of these products, beautiful craftsmanship . Easy install , took me about 2.5 hours to do the first seat, and about an hour and a half for the second. ( and no I don't work for Al Knock, I live in Canada and we are not allowed to work in the US, lol)

Re: 1967 seats
i can't say enough good things about the Al Knock covers and foam, the installation clips and wires are already installed, so that saves you at least half an hour right there, and they know where they should be located to make the seats look right
thier foam is a perfect fit and the bottom piece already has the burlap moulded into it, so you don't have to screw around with the seperate piece that protects the foam from the springs
working out in the sun makes a huge difference, especially with black covers as they really soak up the heat.
once I had the centre insets clipped in place I sprayed the inside of the covers, the foam and the edges of the frames with silicone spray , which makes it way easier to stretch and position the foam under the cover.
the bottoms are the hardest to stretch and get the little clips wrapped around the edge of the frame, I think if I was to do another set I would get someone to stand on the frame, to provide some more slack.
The new seat backs I got needed to have the notches for the side screws elongated a bit, is just did that with a carbide bit in my die grinder. And then they fit great.
thats about all I got...- Top

Dave,
They look great and I think you lit a fire under me as I have had apart and torn as to where to buy the foam & covers. Now off to the chrome shop for the side rails.
