    Window sticker

I recently purchased a 2014 Stingray from the original owner but he failed to save the window sticker. Is there a way to obtain a copy of the original window sticker for my car?

Contact the NCM with your VIN.

Would the NCM window sticker be considered a copy or original for future owners?

Give Betty Hardison a call (phone number is on the Museum web site) or email at Betty@corvettemuseum.com. She is in charge of the Library & Archives and that is where the window stickers come from. Last time I was chatting with her re-prints of the C7 window stickers were not available, but that was a long year ago, so check with her for the latest news.

What the Museum produces for window stickers is a reproduction, but since it comes from the Museum and is based on the Assembly Plant build records it has far more authenticity than if it was produced otherwise. BTW: I think reproduction window stickers for the newer Corvettes are not available other than from the Museum.

You might want to ask her about the build sheets for your car (have the VIN on hand when you talk to her). They may have some of the originals from the plant for the C7s. They did have original build sheets from time to time for the C6s, but that was a single sheet for all parts of the car. For C7s there are separate build sheets for the body and chassis, and maybe other parts of the car also. That change in the build process may make the C7 situation more problematic, so you have to ask at the source.
