Corvette Vagabond's car is 49 years old today!

I have been fortunate to own the car for 45 of it's 49 years. 46,000 miles on it when I bought it from original owner. Now pushing 300,000 and 4 restorations, visits to 48 states and 15 European countries.


Not bad for a old sports car

In Maine no less, Land of salt and corrosion I use to live in Lincoln ME area. Only saw 1 c2 growing up in Penobscot County

Hi, I can believe that, funny, on my 48 state trip in 2010 , 20,000 miles, blue highways, I only saw 3 C-2 and no C-1 on the road. Many at shows and hosts , but none on the road. I sort of had a one car exhibition of the dependibilty of these cars, no problems and lots of fun and drinks at members parties for me.

In a way it was sad that so many of these cars have such nice paint etc, that the owners are afraid to drive them......
