Mike,

They fit but they are made by China and they weight much more than the originals. There is only one game in town!
If you have an original that is not broken you would be much more pleased with just getting it chromed!

Just to add 2 cents. Just finished my '66 and will agree with Joe. I purchased the repro to get the car done, but had I known during my window post, bumper rechrome , I'd have had the original console rechromed too. Still plan to do that, then sell the repro!

Mike, unless they've changed things overseas - the graining on the consoles are not like originals. Fit I hear is decent, but graining and chrome leave a lot to be desired. I would use your original if you have it and it's in half decent shape. Otherwise, I would invest a couple of weeks of time in trying to find a nice used original one. If your search proves fruitless, then that repop console is only a phone call away. Just my two cents. Hope all is well with you Mike...ARA
