Hi. I have started restoring a 1994 corvette coupe. It sat up for about ten years. It is going well but the headlights will only come halfway up. The lights shine. I'm thinking it is the headlight motor gears. Has anyone had success with plastic gears? I'm restoring it to sell so I don't need all original. Does anyone have any other ideas? Thanks for your help. It's the plastic bushings in the gears that crumble and go bad. But yes I had good luck with replacment plastic gears After all the orginals are made of plastic.
