C2 with factory AC no high speed blower

Hi I have studied threads and manuals I have low and medium no high speed fan

I verified fuse to fan in red wire on passenger side is ok also replaced the relay with a new one repro. No change.

Is the dash switch my next step? Thanks in advance

    John -

Yes, it is. You have power into the switch, or your low and medium speeds wouldn't work; check for power out of the switch on the terminal that feeds the high blower relay with the switch in the "high" position.

I have replaced about 3 high speed blower relays. As its name implies, it controls the high speed only.Readily available.

        John ---

Mr Hinckley's test should tell you if the console switch is providing the 12 v necessary to activate the windings of the 1116992 relay. Really easy to check as on your '65 it's an 18 gauge black wire with orange stripe, and it has it's separate connector. If still nothing, you can (temporarily) by-pass the relay by jumping the red wire with the in-line fuse [careful, this is always live] over to the purple wire, and see if the blower runs on high speed.

thanks for input to all. Electrical problems are always a bugaboo to me
