Need someone to check the clutch bracket on their C2 frame

I'm hoping someone with a bare frame or chassis with the body off that can check the clutch bellcrank/Z-bar bracket positioning on the frame.

I have attached a couple of picture of mine. It appears to be a factory weld, but it is somewhat tilted. Sometime back a year or so ago before I took the body off, I noticed that the end of the bellcrank was about to come up and off the bracket. I bought a new retainer, the one that goes in the notch of the bracket to hold the threaded ball end in the bellcrank.

Is it supposed to be 90 degrees to the frame side rail top? Mine is definitely at a little tilt.

    thanks,

Don, Here are a few I have on file from a distance, but yes it appears yours is tilted. In the morning I'll get some better photos and some angle measurements for you.

I believe it should be vertical. A couple of photos....

Thanks for the great pictures. I'm still debating, I printed some the the picture you guys posted and took them out and compared. I do think it was tilted when welded. I pulled the engine and Transmission today and will have a friend also look at it.

        Thanks again,
        Don

          Don, It's not a perfect 90* but it's close.

Excellent! Thanks very much Rich. Those pictures are very clear. I'm glad I can fix it now with the body off.
