    67 heat riser installation

    i forgot the orientation but if i remember on a big block the valve wieght faces towards the engine block is that correct?

    Not sure about your 67, but with my experience with mostly small blocks and at least one big block (69 L-89) of late, the weight in each case was on the left (firewall) side of the manifold and swung outward. You should be able to see it whereas if it was 120 or 240 degrees from that position you might not.

      Hi Robert , not sure about c3 but 65 66 67 big block sprung weight just clears the starter. One 67 I restored just brushed on the starter and I had to adjust to give enough clearance . The Noland Adams c2 restoration book clearly shows these on new 65 66 67 big block cars pictured on lift.
