65 dated lug wrench

While we are on the subject of lug wrenches in another post-has any one seen lug wrenches with a date on them? I hadn't until recently I saw one in a 65 quite original car. It is cast into the swivel end of the lug wrench.

I don't have much luck posting pictures here either. But I got the Photobucket idea from Wayne M. It's free and pretty easy to use. You just post a link to the picture. The bonus is that the picture doesn't take up space on the NCRS server.

How is the date configured, I've not seen dated jack handles?

I think handles out of Corvairs were the same as Vettes.

I have a hard time visualizing a GM subcontractor making DAILY changes in a CASTING for a jack handle........first beancounter
would gone into cardiac arrest.
