eBay scam alert

This eBay ad is a scam: http://www.ebay.com/itm/171674949940...123&rmvSB=true I'm certain because I currently own the '57 Corvette advertised for sale. The crook took all the photos off the internet. The photos were originally posted by a shop in Tavares, Florida that had the three project cars for sale last year. I don't know where the crook is actually located or will ask marks to send "deposit" money.

I've tried to get eBay to remove the ad. So far they haven't responded at all.

Last week there was a red/red 63 A/C coupe listed from a dealer in Florida. It was a counterfeit car (made up from pieces). Ebay was called as well as the dealer. The dealer kept claiming it was a real car. The car was at about 97K then it was pulled. Not sure who pulled it ebay or the dealer. If it was ebay there is hope....

Thanks Jerry for the heads up. Sadly, the auction looks pretty legit especially with the offer to buy parts to complete these cars first. Somebody will likely get hosed unless eBay pulls the ad.
