Here's a 70 frame picture from the CF that clearly shows the placement of the 2 #3958886 shields placed on the frame before the body was lowered into place.
What I find interesting is that one of the shields was in front of the #2 body mount and one was behind. The AIM indicates they're to be in front of the mount. UPC1 Bolt/Weld, Sheet B3.
Also note the appearance and condition of the frame paint under the shields.
