Can anyone give me contact information for a good restoration service for a standard black 1963 black steering wheel? Many Thanks, Tom

Re: 63 SWC Steering Wheel restoration
Is he able to duplicate the pebble like finish on the plastic wheel. Mine is not bad at all, in fact near perfect (spokes and center horn button), but has a little wear at the 2 o'clock and 10 o'clock positions (the grab on for dear life over the century mark positions).

Re: 63 SWC Steering Wheel restoration
Thanks guys for the information. It's not likely I will have mine restored in my life time, but my son may want to do it when he gets the car. I'll be driving my icloud then. For now, I cherish those things that remind me of all the fun I had with this car and the places I've been. Each chip in the windshield has a special significance too.

Your son may well find that the people that restore steering wheels on vintage Corvettes have all gone to the "Happy Hunting Ground" themselves. These specialists aren't exactly spring chickens either.- Top
