67 Door Latch Fair Market Value

Two questions for the experienced enthusiast. Does anyone reproduce 67 rt & left door latches? If not what would an average fair price range for used latches in working condition. Thanks for the guidance.

they are not being reproduced. 67 are a one year only latch. last fall my dad paid 75 bucks for one. but that was from a local friend collector of parts.

Just so were clear, are you speaking of the door latch or jamb striker?

What makes the 67 different from the 63-66 latches?

it has to do how the lock mechanism "free wheels" I think it's explained in the owners manual

Tracy, In 67 you can no longer open the door from the inside if the door is locked. You must unlock the door first then open it with the door open ball.

In 63-66 the inside door handle overrides the lock feature and the door opens.

Changed in 67 due to all the new federal safety standards
